What is Deutsch4U?
Deutsch4U (D4U) was developed to sensibly complement existing federal language support programs and to facilitate transitions between these programs.
The goal is to close gaps that arise between initial support, integration courses, and subsequent qualification, and at the same time to create new learning opportunities for groups that have only been reached to a limited extent by previous offers.
D4U is aimed at third-country nationals residing legally and permanently. Participants have a residence permit, are usually already rooted in Germany, and are in the transition between language acquisition, social integration, and professional orientation.
D4U addresses this target group, creates flexible learning conditions, and promotes language practice where it is needed: in the immediate living environment.
D4U impresses with its low-threshold approach: The offer is oriented towards the needs of the participants.
Deutsch4U is funded by the EU and the State of Hesse.
